Clonex rooting gel is used the world over in both commercial and hobby contexts with great results. It has been used to successfully propagate over 1 billion cuttings since 1989.
Manufactured in Australia under pharmaceutical laboratory conditions, Clonex Rooting Hormone Gel contains a unique blend of hormones, anti fungal agents, and minerals in a highly tenacious and stabilised gel base. Why choose a gel?

Unlike propagating powders and liquids, Clonex Rooting Hormone Gel is so much more than just rooting hormones mixed with talc, or dissolved in de-ionised water. Clonex instantly and comprehensively seals the cut tissue, not only eliminating the risk of infection and embolism, but also maximising the availability of hte benefits associated with the gel. Unlike powders and liquids, Clonex will remain in contact with the stem throughout the rooting period.

How's Purple different from Green and Red?

Clonex Purple is formulated at 3g/L active constituent for semi-hardwood cuttings, making it the most versatile gel in the lineup.

Clonex rooting gel seals the cut plant tissue instantly preventing any potential infections. It also contains a complete nutrient profile with all essential trace elements to nourish new plant roots. The product will not wash off the exposed stem the way powder or liquid formulations can. It's a powerful product carefully formulated to provide everything a cutting needs to successfully establish a healthy root system. Can be used with either propagation cubes or growing media.

Features

  • Increased strike rate from Clonex holding the against the plant tissue
  • Higher safety levels for workers since they are not breathing in talc and hormones (sometimes found in other rooting powder and liquids)
  • The Gel seals the cut and stops air embolisms in the plant's vascular tissue preventing wilting of the cutting
  • Quicker and more prolific root growth
  • Ideal for semi-hardwood cuttings
